Top 10 Radiology Videos of 2025

If a picture tells a thousand words, then how much more does a video tell you? Here at The Imaging Wire, we believe there’s nothing like having healthcare professionals and industry executives tell you in their own words what’s really going on in radiology.

That’s why video has been an important part of our story since the early days of The Imaging Wire. And over the course of 2025, we published over 80 videos, including on-the-showfloor reports from ECR, HIMSS, SIIM, and RSNA.

Below are the best of the best – The Imaging Wire’s top 10 radiology videos for 2025 – as measured by views on our YouTube channel. We hope you’ve enjoyed watching our interviews as much as we’ve enjoyed producing them, and we look forward to bringing you more top-notch radiology video content in 2026.

  1. The Promise of AI Vision Foundation Models for Radiology

AI foundation models promise to speed up development of artificial intelligence algorithms for radiology by making it easier to train and test models. In this Imaging Wire Show interview, we talked to Gabriel Misrachi and Daniel Jones of AI developer Gleamer about AI vision foundation models and more.

  1. The Benefits of All-in-One Radiology Workflow

When it comes to interpreting medical images, radiologists have to use multiple different software applications, from worklist to image viewing to reporting. What if all those applications were available in a single integrated platform? In this edition of The Imaging Wire Show, we talked to executives from New Lantern about the benefits of their all-in-one radiology workflow platform.

  1. Cloud IT Solutions for Radiology’s Challenges

It’s no secret that radiology is facing a variety of challenges, but new cloud-based imaging IT solutions that unify PACS, reporting, AI, and workflow into a single package promise to make radiologists’ lives easier. In this Imaging Wire Show, we talked to Sirona Medical CEO Ken Kaufman about how the company’s cloud IT solutions can help.

  1. How Philips Is Solving Radiology’s Workforce Challenges

Radiology practices are dealing with severe shortages of both radiologists and radiologic technologists. In this episode of The Imaging Wire Show, we talked to Philips executives Madhuri Sebastian (Business Leader, Imaging Informatics) and Ioannis Panagiotelis, PhD, (Business Leader, MR) about how Philips is advancing precision imaging and transforming the radiology experience from the inside out to help radiologists focus on what matters most – their patients.

  1. A New Alliance for Agentic AI Radiology Reporting

Agentic AI in radiology offers the promise of a host of automated algorithms performing tasks for radiologists to help them save time and work more efficiently. But radiology needs a technical foundation in order for agentic AI to work. In this Imaging Wire Show, we talked to a new coalition of imaging IT companies that are working together to make agentic AI a reality through the PAIRsdk standard by RADPAIR.

  1. A New Direction at Mach7 Technologies

Enterprise imaging company Mach7 Technologies has set a new strategic direction with the recent hiring of healthcare IT veteran Teri Thomas as CEO. We caught up with her to discuss changes at the company and her plans for moving forward.

  1. New Solutions for Lung Ventilation/Perfusion Analysis

New solutions are becoming available for lung ventilation/perfusion (V/Q) analysis, which can help clinicians detect problems with lung function. In this episode of The Imaging Wire Show, we talked to Greg Mogel, MD, of 4DMedical and Trishul Siddharthan, MD, of the University of Miami, on how these solutions can change patient management.

  1. Redefining Breast Imaging in the Enterprise Era

As breast imaging grows more complex, with rising volumes, multi-modality requirements, and increasing demand for specialty reads, radiology teams need more than siloed tools. They need a connected, intuitive learning experience that adapts to how they work. Join AGFA HealthCare and special guest Dr. Jay P. Patel, breast imaging section head, Quantum Radiology, on this on-demand webinar for a candid conversation about transforming breast imaging workflows. He’ll be joined by AGFA experts Kyle Souligne and Collin Bower in the discussion.

  1. Advances in Mobile CT Lung Cancer Screening

Low-dose CT lung cancer screening is gaining momentum worldwide, but clinicians still face obstacles in getting eligible people screened. One tool that can help is mobile lung cancer screening, in which a CT scanner installed in a mobile truck provides screening services where they are needed in the community. We talked about this new concept with Lary Robinson, MD, of Moffitt Cancer Center and Liv Egan of Siemens Healthineers.

  1. Interpretation Efficiency in Radiology

Radiologists face a challenging environment today. Rising imaging volumes and chronic workforce shortages are making it more difficult to provide quality service. And legacy imaging IT solutions like PACS don’t make things any easier. In this edition of The Imaging Wire Show, we talked to leading radiology key opinion leaders on how new software tools can help by boosting the interpretation efficiency of radiologists. Our guests included Amy Thompson of Signify Research; Melissa Davis, MD, MBA of Yale University; Eric Pepin, MD, PhD, of Radiology Associates of North Texas; Nicholas Said, MD, MBA, of Duke University; and Long Tu, MD, PhD, of Yale University.
